About Me

Hi! My name is Sergei. Mom calls me “Fluffy-Tail” and Dad calls me “Schnozzle-Head.” Above is a picture of me looking regal and dignified, but that’s just me pretending. Below is a picture of the real me.

In case you want to know a little bit more about me, read on…
I’m a Borzoi - that’s a type of sighthound sometimes called a Russian Wolfhound. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a bunch of Greyhounds. I wasn’t born here, though. I was born in Florida on June 5, 2004 (check out my puppy pictures). I lived in a couple of houses before coming to Arizona, but they didn’t work out.
I arrived here at my forever home on December 2, 2007, after a trip across the country during which I got to meet lots of people and other dogs. That was lots of fun, but it’s fun here, too. Besides Mom and Dad, there are the Greyhounds: Peaches, Cooper, Raven, BJ, and Captain Jack. Oh, and there’s a cat, but she’s not very nice. She hisses at me when I get too close. Oh well, the Greyhounds like to play with me. Here’s a picture of Raven, Captain Jack, and me “racing” - look who’s in the lead!

You might notice that Raven only has three legs, but you can see that doesn’t keep him from running and playing. You might also notice that’s Raven’s missing a lot of fur - that’s because I moved in just a few weeks after he had to have his leg amputated (due to bone cancer) and the picture was taken around that time, before his fur grew back.
Besides the Greyhounds, there are other fun things here. There are three big baskets of toys - and a swimming pool!
Here’s me checking through the downstairs toy basket the very first day I got here:

And here’s me in the pool:

Well, that’s about all I have to say about me. Thanks for visiting and reading!

Hi, we are the first owners of Sergei. Its nice to see him so happy and in a great home. I have his brother and he is doing well. My husband won’t look at the site because it makes his heart hurt. He loved Sergei. Thanks for loving him. Monica and Dan
