Hi! Sergei here. Did you miss me? I’m going to pretend that you did even though hardly anyone sent me any messages about not posting for a long time. Oh well. I guess we were all busy, huh?
Anyway, I’m back and I’m going to tell you about the trip I took with Greyhounds of Fairhaven the first weekend of this month (November). We went to Las Cruces, New Mexico, for the Dona Ana Arts Council Renaissance ArtsFaire, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Here I am Saturday morning, waiting for the crowds to pet me.

And here they come!

More pets.

And more.

And yet even more.

Hey! Where’d everybody go? Must be a lunchtime lull.

Here are the people again, lining up outside the encampment.

Oh yes, admire me.

Mmmmmm…

Nod joins me to share some of the love.

Here I am, all but leading the daily parade.

After the parade, ready for more pets.

That’s nice.

Two hands are better than one.

As the day wore on, the crowds thinned.

So I took up my “pitiful pet me pose” to attract more love.

And it worked. One of my last pets of the day.

Me and some of the Greyhounds in the pen after the faire closed.
Notice that all of the Greys needed to wear sweaters. Wimps.

Me and Captain Jack on Mom and Dad’s bed in the big pavilion.
We were just warming it up for them, of course.
So that was the first day of the Las Cruces faire. It was really nice lying around and getting petted, prancing in the parade, lying around and getting petted some more, then eating dinner and sleeping on Mom’s legs all night.
Next post, I’ll show you pictures of some of the fun I had at the faire on Sunday.
