I’ve decided that the best thing about the Renaissance Festival is all of the new people I get to meet, and all the pats and hugs and kisses they give me. Below are pictures of some of the new friends I’ve made.

Me and Mom waiting for all of
my new friends to arrive.

This is better. Someone to pet me.
(BTW, that brindle Greyhound is Luau with his mom, Marii.)

Attention at both ends!

Yeah…that’s the spot.

Me and my best Greyhound friend, Captain Jack.

More attention! And I get to use Fox as a pillow.

Of course, all of this attention makes me hungry.
Unfortunately, no matter how long I worshiped
the table, it wouldn’t give me any cheese.

My table worshiping was interrupted by more petting.
Oooooh, forget the cheese - that feels good.

Mom took pity on me and gave me some cheese.

Then it was time for more pets!

Sitting on the “couch” in the booth.

Posing for one of my fans.

Having spent most of the morning in the back of the booth,
I went to the front in the afternoon and did my best
“sad eyes” look to see if I could attract more fans.

This little girl showed up after a few moments,
and Jack came to share in the love.

More petting - yay!

Even more petting.

Back to the front of the booth.

Turkey leg! Yum!

Jack gets some turkey, too.

When the Queen came by, I decided
to play “hard to get.”

La-la-la-la. I don’t hear you.

Uh-oh, two-handed scritches…

I surrender!

More love for me!

Perfect! Just keep scratching right there.

More little girls to pet me!

This getting loved is thirsty work.

Must stop drinking for more love.

A hug for me.

End of the day. Too tired to get up for more pets.
I’ve got lots more pictures, but I’ll save them for another time.
